A young male lion was sighted among the rest of its pride. You can tell that its a male by the fur around the head as it is a bit thicker and darker than what the females would be. Female lions generally keep a smoother, sleeker face and lack mane growth entirely.

Two Hippos were spotted outside of the water at Hippo Loop on Saturday at 14:10pm. Hippos spend most of the day in water but emerge at night and early morning to feed on grass, often walking several kilometers in search of food.
