A baby wildebeest panicked while being chased by lions and abandoned the safety of the herd. The calf then ran toward the road, where, out in the open, it became too easy a target for the closest hungry lion.

Buffalo Drags Croc Out Of Water With Its Nose

A buffalo with both a strong will and a strong nose managed to drag a Nile crocodile out of the water at Sabi Sand Game Reserve.

What began as a predator’s attempt to attack ended up as a startling display of defence. A crocodile ambushed a buffalo by grabbing its nose while the herd was near the water. But instead of giving in, the buffalo used its strength to drag the reptile out of the water and onto dry land, shaking it off before the croc slid back into hiding.

A female leopard has been sighted along Tshukudu eNtsho Drive, 2.9 kilometres from Tlou Drive at 11:50 AM. The tinger states that it climbed onto the dam wall and jumped off, heading down the river below.
